Welcome to the 4th annual fundraiser bike ride to support our school! In the first year of this event, 8 cyclists raised $2500 to benefit Live Oak Waldorf School. Last year a group of 30 riders, including current and former faculty, current and alumni parents, and students raised over $24,000. This year we have over 50 participants signed up to conquer the course and generate support for the school!
Live Oak Waldorf School is an independent, private Waldorf School serving children in preschool through the 8th grade in the Sierra Foothills, beautiful training grounds for cycling enthusiasts of every level. Over 10% of the school budget is supported with fundraising efforts held throughout the year. That equates to two teachers’ salaries or all of the costs associated with maintaining our extensive specialty subject classes. This bike ride has become a pivotal fundraising event for the Live Oak! And it is a lot of fun!
